
Connie Lane Williams is a performance poet and musician. She is a cum laude graduate of Texas Womans University with a B.S. in Piano Performance and holds an M.A. from Angelo State University in English Literature. Williams is a recipient of the Shawn Briton Graduate Award for Poetry, the Sigma Tau Delta award for poetry and has been published in such journals as the Concho River Review, The Oasis, Moon Crossed, Ardent and The Austin Chronicles Literai. Williams has been featured in such venues as the Kelton Writers Conference, the Ft. Concho Museum Press conference, Expressions, the Langdon Review, Texas Tech, the Globe Theater in Odessa, Texas, UTPB Odessa, and the Austin International Poetry Festival.

Forrest Fest
Shown here as Buttons Oakley in J. Freak's Poetry Circus at Cafe Cafeine in Austin, Texas, Williams is the Director of Forrest Fest, a literary festival which presents poets, musicians and artists from the International arena in a community venue in Lamesa, Texas, generally each last weekend of April.
